About Us

Our beginnings

Our school began as a dream while Mr. Terence Lee, our owner, taught at ATA Martial Arts in Bentonville, Arkansas. After an opportunity arose for Mr. Lee to open a school of his own, our team officially assembled as GSH Elite Martial Arts under GTMA (Global Traditional Martial Arts).  We aim to bring the art of GSHIM Taekwondo to Northwest Arkansas and provide opportunities for our community to learn this art in whatever ways we can.

Our Goal

At GSH Elite Martial Arts, we believe that martial arts wasn't designed to fight, but to stop fights. With love and respect, we aim to change lives and promote this belief, one black belt at a time.

Meet our Team!

Terence Lee
Founder / Chief instructor

Mr. Lee began his martial arts journey at 35 years old when he enrolled his children. He earned his black belt in 2010 and began assisting classes in 2011. He earned his first  World Championship title in that same year. Mr. Lee's passion lies in educating others and teaching strong black belts. He currently works for Sam's Club as a Buyer for tropical fruits, as well as serving as owner and Chief Instructor of GSH Elite Martial Arts as a fifth degree black belt.

Jasmine Lee
Program director / Instructor

Miss Lee began her martial arts journey when she was four years old. She earned her first Global Championship title in 2022 and her Instructor Certification in 2023. Now a fourth degree black belt, she helps instruct and maintain the school's social media pages and other communication platforms.  Miss Lee's passion is educating younger children on martial arts and life skills. She is also a full-time student at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, pursuing a Bachelor's degree in English/Creative Writing.

Brian Bredehoeft
instructor

Mr. Bredehoeft began his martial arts journey at six years old. He began teaching at fourteen and qualified for the Junior Olympics at seventeen. He won his Global Championship title in 2022. A total of fourteen years of teaching under his fourth degree black belt, Mr. Bredehoeft finds his passion in giving his knowledge of martial arts to his students. Mr. Bredehoeft is also a freelance animator, having worked on films such as The Smurfs 2.

Adrian Lopez
instructor

Mr. Lopez began his martial arts journey in 2012. He earned his World Championship title in 2019 and all three of his Global Championship titles in 2022. Now a third degree black belt, Mr. Lopez assists Mr. Lee and Mr. Bredehoeft on the mat. He has earned his Bachelor's Degree in General Business at the University of Arkansas and is currently working in logistics at Uber Freight.

what does "GSH" stand for?

"top"

"skill"

"group"

Mandarin Chinese doesn't translate to English one hundred percent, so the direct translation of "高手會" doesn't make much sense. The "true" meaning of this phrase roughly translates to "elite group", which is where Elite Martial Arts comes from!
